Controller

We are partnering with a growing organization in the Dayton area that is seeking a skilled Controller to manage their accounting and finance team. To be considered for this role, you should have solid working knowledge of GAAP and strong leadership experience.
Responsibilities

Manage monthly closings, journal entries, and account reconciliations
Prepare financial statements and maintain GAAP compliance
Oversee treasury management and daily cash reconciliation
Support annual financial review and tax return preparation
Oversee fixed assets
Oversee AR/AP teams
Collaborate closely with finance, sales, and marketing departments
Requirements

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field
CPA preferred
Controller or Assistant Controller experience
8+ years of progressive accounting experience
3+ years in a leadership role
Hands‑on experience and willingness to manage general ledger, accounts payable and accounts receivable functions
