My client is seeking a
Financial Controller
to lead and oversee core accounting and financial operations. This is a hands‑on role ideal for someone with a
strong accounting foundation
who can manage day‑to‑day functions while contributing to financial planning and accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee
Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR)
functions
Manage
payroll processing
(experience with ADP preferred)
Prepare and review
financial statements
Maintain the
General Ledger (GL)
and lead
month‑end close
Ensure proper
accounting treatment and compliance
with GAAP
Develop and support
financial forecasts and reporting
Monitor financial performance and provide insights to leadership
Qualifications
Strong background in
accounting fundamentals
(must‑have)
Experience in
full‑cycle accounting and financial reporting
Hands‑on experience with
month‑end close and GL maintenance
Familiarity with
ADP payroll systems
preferred
Ability to work independently and take ownership
CPA
preferred (not required)
