Overview
Headfarmer has partnered with a luxury hospitality management client in search of a Corporate Accountant in Scottsdale, Arizona! This is an interim/contract opportunity in which you’ll be helping them with complex reconciliations, month end functions, financial statement analysis and special process improvement projects.
The estimated engagement length is 3-6 months and pay is up to $65 per hour.

Responsibilities
Your primary responsibilities include:
Manage month end accounting functions for up to 20 different locations
Complete general ledger reconciliations, variance analysis and financial statement preparation/review
Prepare and post journal entries, accruals and adjusting entries
Conduct technical accounting research to resolve unique and complex discrepancies
Assist with general process improvement and account clean-up-related initiatives
Support internal and external audit readiness by preparing necessary schedules, documentation and reporting
Education, Qualifications and Skills Required
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance
5+ years of corporate, month-end accounting experience
Strong general ledger, reconciliations and P&L analysis skills
Proficiency in Excel; ERP software experience strongly preferred
Excellent attention to detail and ability to prioritize effectively
Process improvement and streamlining experience
