Job Summary
Reviews and ensures accuracy and compliance of all payroll tax filings and payments. Responsible for account reconciliation, analysis and reporting of payroll accounts. Responsible for updating payroll system to maintain accuracy with GL system.

Reviews and ensures accuracy and compliance of all payroll tax filings and payments.
Reconciliation of payroll tax and taxable information on Employee record quarterly and annually for W2 purposes for Prisma Health. Responsible for payroll information reported in 990 forms.
Responsible for account reconciliation, analysis and reporting of payroll accounts. Responsible for updating payroll system to maintain accuracy with GL system.
Ensures Prisma is in compliance with all payroll tax laws
Responsible for analyzing repayments due to over-payments or underpayments. Prepares all necessary documentation to comply with IRS regulations and Prisma policy. Works closely with payroll manager to ensure that the process has been completed and follows up to ensure complete repayment.
Responsible for coordination of payroll audits and inquiries regarding these filings.
Manages payroll accounting adjustments
Performs other duties as assigned.
Supervisory/Management Responsibilities
This is a non-management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director or executive.
Minimum Requirements
Education - Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting
Experience - Five (5) years in accounting or payroll
In Lieu Of
Education - Bachelor's degree in another field of study may be considered with seven (7) years of payroll, accounting, or finance experience
Required Certifications, Registrations, Licenses
CPA or CPP Certification
Knowledge, Skills And Abilities
Demonstrated experience performing payroll tax reconciliations and analysis
Through understanding and experience with computerized payroll or accounting system with large-sized organization.
Proficient working with multiple systems and tools to perform job functions
Proficient if advanced EXCEL
Workday payroll or Workday accounting - Preferred
