The pay range for this position is $80,000-$90,000 annually; however, base pay offered may vary depending on factors such as job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and market location. General Description
As the Assistant Manager you will partner with the Center Manager to effectively run the center, maximize sales and minimize costs towards AOP goals, motivate associates to achieve high customer service standards, resolve complaints, manage staffing, handle customer service and safety, assume lead role when the manager is absent, and engage in career training and development. You will also develop, merchandise, bill, create invoices, control assets, and promote products and services.
Responsibilities
Assist the Center Manager in the management of the location.
Direct store activities in the absence of the Center Manager, including managing associates to achieve sales results and profit objectives.
Assist with hiring, training, and managing associates.
Assist the sales and service departments.
Operate the center in the absence of the Center Manager, ensuring compliance with company standards, policies, procedures, and protection of assets such as inventory, accounts receivable, trucks, and equipment.
Enforce company policies and procedures.
Provide "Service Excellence, Always" to meet sales and service goals and customer needs.
Communicate work assignments and responsibilities to associates.
Ensure proper staffing levels with qualified personnel.
Manage safety, health, and environmental issues.
Perform manual tasks for extended periods, including light and heavy lifting of commercial tires and wheels, standing, bending, and squatting.
Basic Requirements
Ability to relocate based on the business needs and personal development for the role.
One year of previous management experience.
Valid driver's license.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship now or in the future.
Preferred Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED.
Associate Degree in a related field.
Candidate Criteria
Strong oral and written communication ability.
Commitment to follow all safety procedures and work safely.
Ability to work in a results‑oriented, fast‑paced environment as part of a team.
Self‑starter, willing to take initiative, work without direct supervision, and attend appropriate training sessions.
