About the Role
Northrop Grumman Defense Systems is seeking an

Administrative Assistant to the VP

in

McLean, VA . The position supports the

Weapon Systems Division Vice President and General Manager .

Essential Functions

Calendar management across a distributed team / multiple time zones

Meeting organization and planning

Coordinating travel arrangements

Expense report generation and closeout

Gather, compile, and reporting

Coordination and preparation of briefing packages

Coordinating arrangements for customer meetings

Basic Qualifications

High School diploma/GED with a minimum of 10 years related work experience, including a minimum of 6 years of experience supporting senior leadership.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint).

High level of interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential situations with poise and diplomacy.

Strong written and oral communication skills.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Able to work well independently and as part of a team.

Effectively handle multiple tasks while maintaining a high degree of flexibility, accuracy, and confidentiality.

Position continually requires demonstrated ability to handle complex work assignments, where considerable initiative, judgment, tact, discretion, and creativity are required in resolving problems.

Possesses good analytical ability in order to gather and summarize data for reports, find solutions to various administrative problems.

Must be a US Citizen and able to acquire a Secret Clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

Previous Executive Administrative experience at or above the VP level.

Compensation & Benefits
Primary level salary range: $79,100.00 - $131,900.00.

Employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. Benefits include health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, company‑paid holidays, and paid time off (PTO) for vacation or personal business.
