Position Summary
Northrop Grumman seeks a skilled professional for the role of

Principle Supply Chain Planning Specialist

with experience in supply chain management, business and financial planning, contracts administration, project management, logistics, and manufacturing. This full‑time position is located in Salt Lake City, Utah.

Responsibilities

Provide support to the program team to evaluate material and equipment requirements throughout the life of the program.

Handle financial responsibilities including EACs, material sales, sales forecasting, and cost account management (CAM) support.

Represent Northrop Grumman Global Supply Chain in program management reviews, leadership briefings, customer briefings, and supplier engagement.

Plan and coordinate program requirements.

Monitor and establish material inventory.

Create and document supply and demand strategies in formal plans to achieve program goals and objectives.

Solve complex supply chain problems using established precedents and policies.

Identify, document, and mitigate or realize risks and opportunities.

Evaluate suppliers and record key performance indicators.

Prioritize efforts and quickly adapt to changing program needs and objectives.

Manage budgeting and forecasting, ensuring projects stay within approved budget.

Act as the prime contact on program contracts or projects for the Global Supply Chain.

Lead others through dynamic and fluid environments.

Basic Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree and 5+ years (3+ years with a Master’s) of supply chain, program management, and/or business management experience.

Project/Program Management or Supply Chain Planning experience working on Aerospace and Defense programs.

US citizen with the ability to obtain DoD Secret Clearance.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Project, Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams.

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelor’s in supply chain or business management.

Experience acting as a CAM on cost‑plus development programs.

Experience with Earned Value Management and Forecasting.

General understanding of Government procurement processes and regulations, including FAR/DFAR.

Current DoD Secret or higher security clearance.

Experience supporting moderately complex proposal efforts.

Knowledge of Basis of Estimate, Price Reasonableness, Commercial Item Determination.

Expert MS Excel capability including pivot tables, macros, and VBA scripting.

Salary range: $81,400 – $122,000. Base pay may be adjusted based on scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions. Overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonuses may be available. Long‑term incentives may apply for certain leadership positions.
