Your Role
You usually work during the hours of 6:30 am - 5:00 pm, Monday - Friday.
Our Fleet Technician - Equipment Mechanic is responsible for performing top‑quality mechanical repairs and maintenance services, ensuring that our machinery is always ready when we need it. You collaborate with your team to service heavy equipment, such as loaders, skid steers, low‑bed trailers, dump trucks, and medium‑duty trucks. Attentively, you inspect machinery, determine existing and potential problems, and perform the necessary services. You manage your parts inventory, maintain service records, and do what you can to keep our business operations efficient!
Qualifications
Proven experience as a mechanic specializing in fleet trucks and heavy equipment
Ability to diagnose and troubleshoot complex mechanical issues
Ability to provide tools suitable for heavy equipment maintenance and repair
Organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and with a team
Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
Current DOT medical card or ability to obtain one
Ability to travel within a 25‑minute radius of Derry
Must pass a background check and drug screening test
Salary: $25 - $35 per hour.
