The company builds long-term relationships with Builders, Remodelers, Designers, Architects and Contractors, based on honesty and integrity, with the goal of providing clients with value, quality and expertise.
Position
Byrd Tile is currently seeking a Design Consultant for its Winterville showroom. This person meets with clients and guides them through the tile selection process. Design Consultants drive the process from the homeowner’s vision to reality, working with builders, remodelers, designers, installers and homeowners from selections through delivery to the jobsite.
Responsibilities
Meet with clients and guide them through the tile selection process.
Collaborate with builders, remodelers, designers, installers and homeowners from selections to jobsite delivery.
Skills and Qualifications
Ability to plan, organize and set priorities.
Maintain customer communication and ensure customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
Superior verbal and written communication skills.
Good and friendly people skills.
Proficiency with computers and basic applications.
Unquestionable integrity.
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently.
Ability to multi-task.
Ability to collaborate with internal staff and outside sales staff.
Follow procedures for preparing and entering orders.
Ability to learn product lines and industry standards.
