Ameristar Perimeter Security USA (ASSA ABLOY) is looking for a Loader for the 3rd shift. This position will be responsible for safely loading parts onto a moving production line.
What you will be doing:
Checks for incoming materials so production is not stalled.
Ensures work area is clean and performs necessary housekeeping.
Has basic math skills.
Performs other duties as assigned by management.
Has flexibility with production hours.
Recognizes parts that do not meet specifications.
Stands at the work station for a long period of time.
Lifts up to approximately 40 pounds.
Rejects bad materials that do not meet quality standards.
Follows and adheres to the dress code.
Comprehends and follows written and verbal instructions.
Works in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, dust, heat, and cold air.
Maintains repetitive motions using arms and hands.
The skills and experience you need:
Education
High School diploma or GED equivalent.
Experience
At least 6 months experience in manufacturing.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to multi‑task and react to changing priorities.
Strong verbal communication skills.
Other
Maintains a safe working environment conducive to productivity.
Can think and react quickly to changing situations and adjust to changing priorities.
Works side by side with other Loaders.
Ensures proper storage and handling of all materials.
Good understanding of quality control.
