
Maintenance Technician

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech to join their team. As a 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech, you will be part of the Maintenance Department supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
**Job Title:** 2nd Shift Maintenance Tech
**Location:** Leeds, Alabama
**Pay Range:** $17.00 per hour
**Shift:** Monday - Thursday: 2:30 PM - 1:00 AM; Fridays: Work on 1st shift; Overtime is required based on production needs.
**What's the Job?**
+ Perform routine, preventative, and emergency maintenance on manufacturing equipment
+ Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems
+ Diagnose equipment failures and perform timely repairs to minimize downtime
+ Conduct equipment inspections and report safety or operational concerns
+ Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
**What's Needed?**
+ Previous maintenance experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment preferred
+ Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
+ Ability to read and interpret basic mechanical or electrical diagrams
+ Must provide own basic hand tools (specialty tools provided by company)
+ Willingness to train on 1st shift and transition to 2nd shift upon completion
