Financial Analyst

We are seeking a versatile and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our finance team. Unlike traditional corporate accounting roles that are segmented by task, this position offers the unique opportunity to manage the full accounting lifecycle from start to finish. You will be responsible for preparing, validating, and analyzing financial information, managing general ledger activities, and supporting the budgeting and reporting processes for the entire system.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the end-to-end financial process, including journal entries, general ledger maintenance, and month-end close.
Compile comprehensive finance reports, perform variance analysis, and assist in the preparation of quarterly and annual financial statements/footnotes.
Perform regular account reconciliations, including fixed assets and partnership reporting, ensuring all reconciling items are investigated and cleared.
Actively participate in the budgeting process and provide detailed cost reporting.
Ensure compliance with capital policies and provide robust support for both internal and external audits.
Work closely with various departments to assist with financial issues and ensure timely recognition of asset retirements.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (Master’s Degree preferred).
3 to 5 years of professional experience in accounting or finance.
Proficiency in full-cycle accounting, variance analysis, and partnership reporting.
Ability to work independently across a variety of tasks rather than being limited to one segment of the process.
