Shredder Picker

Responsibilities
Visually identify and sort ("pick") various materials from metal shredder conveyor systems
During shredder downtime, perform cleanup and maintenance duties including but not limited to: shoveling debris, sweeping debris, equipment wash down, greasing, and miscellaneous machine maintenance assistance
Work Environment and Safety
Picking stations are outdoors with shade covers
Must wear minimum PPE at all times including: hi-visibility shirt/vest, hard hat, safety glasses, gloves, safety-toe shoes
Must be able to communicate effectively in English to understand instructions and emergency communications
Must be able to stand at picking conveyor for extended periods
