Web-to-Print Finishing Operator- Pressure Sensitive (1st Shift) - Plant 1

Belmark is seeking an individual to join our team at our Web-to-Print® Pressure Sensitive plant in De Pere, WI. We create many of the labels, cartons, pressure-sensitive and flexible film that consumers see daily when shopping for various items. In this role, you will be responsible for all associated equipment and processes implemented in the Finishing Department in Web-to-Print®. This includes all functions of the Digicon Finishing Platforms, the Coupon Folding Equipment, and the Omega Coupon Inserter. Overtime and flexible hours will be required. You are expected to operate the machines at the highest efficiency possible while following standard operating procedures and work instructions to produce high‑quality product. Pre‑employment Requirements

Schedule
1st shift hours are from 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Monday - Friday.

Pay
$21 - $23 per hour. The hourly rate for this position is determined by the level of the role, relevant experience, and may incorporate shift differentials, ensuring fair compensation that reflects both expertise and responsibilities entailed.

What will I do in this role?

Responsible for following all safety procedures as required by the role, and to nurture a food safety culture by adhering to all Safe Quality Foods requirements.

Maintain quality, productivity and waste according to established standards.

Perform all job tasks utilizing required personal protective equipment and correct safety procedures.

Web the finishing units.

Clean the finishing units.

Perform routine maintenance on the finishing units.

Complete necessary job paperwork.

Understand and properly utilize computer-based hardware and software associated.

Keep work area and the machine organized and clean.

Responsible for meeting a 48‑hour stated turnaround objective.

May cross‑train in other areas of Web-to-Print®.

May perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Will have job duties specific to our Hazardous Waste Management Program for the proper disposal of spent solvents, waste inks and other designated waste products. Some responsibilities include placing waste solvents/inks in designated waste drums, labeling the waste drums, and moving waste drums to designated storage locations.

Minimum Qualifications

Any combination equivalent to graduation from high school.

Knowledge of the English language and its effective use.

Must have excellent problem‑solving skills.

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide whole numbers, decimals and fractions.

Ability to give, receive and analyze information.

Ability to effectively navigate and operate a computer.

Ability to stand and walk for 80% of work time; stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl for 20% of work time.

Ability to see clearly at 20 inches or less; see clearly at 20 feet or more; identify and distinguish colors; observe an area that can be seen up and down or to the left and right while eyes are fixed on a given point; judge distances and spatial relationships; and to adjust the eye to bring an object into sharp focus.

Ability to use hands for 100% of work time; reach above shoulders for 50% of work time; use feet to operate machines for 30% of work time.

Ability to lift: 10 pounds or less 25% of work time; 25 pounds or less 30% of work time; 50 pounds or less 25% of work time; may lift 100 pounds or less 5% of work time.

May be required to lift up to 100 pounds or more.

May be required to use sense of smell.

Eligibility for internal transfers is based on completion of required, overall performance, attendance record, qualifications, and tenure in your current position.
