Entry-Level Process Engineer – Pharmaceutical Manufacturing
Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated
recent Chemical or Mechanical Engineering graduate
to join a pharmaceutical manufacturing operations in a Production Technician role. This is an entry-level role designed to provide hands-on exposure to
drug substance and drug product manufacturing , equipment, and GMP-regulated processes in a production environment.
Responsibilities
Support daily pharmaceutical production operations, including
batch processing, equipment utilization, and troubleshooting
Assist with
process optimization, yield improvement, and cycle time reduction
Participate in
technology transfer , scale-up, and validation activities
Support deviation investigations, root cause analysis, and CAPA development
Author and revise
technical documentation
including SOPs, batch records, and validation protocols
Collaborate cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Quality, Maintenance, and EHS teams
Ensure all activities comply with
cGMP, FDA, and regulatory requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related discipline
0–2 years of experience
(recent graduates strongly encouraged to apply)
Internship, co-op, or academic project experience in
pharmaceutical, biotech, chemical, or regulated manufacturing
preferred
Fundamental understanding of
process engineering principles
Strong problem-solving and communication skills
Ability to work in a
manufacturing / plant environment
Preferred Experience
Exposure to
GMP environments
Familiarity with batch processing, unit operations, or production equipment
Interest in long-term career growth within pharmaceutical manufacturing
