Hiring Title: Maintenance PLC/Controls Tech
Rate: $38/hr
Purpose
The Maintenance PLC/Controls Tech position will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting and repairing plant equipment to help ensure continuous plant operations and production requirements. Assists in the creation of PM programs, provides facilities maintenance and production support as needed, and supports plant controls and programming needs under the direction of the Maintenance Project Coordinator when necessary.
Principal Accountabilities
The following are required of the Maintenance PLC/Controls Technician position:
Understands ladder logic and can perform PLC programming functions and troubleshooting.
Performs maintenance and repairs to manufacturing and facility equipment and systems.
Performs preventive maintenance activities on plant equipment and systems.
Able to follow directions and work unsupervised at times.
Follows all GMPs and safety guidelines.
Familiar with Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Accurately fills out all required paperwork.
Ability to work scheduled and unscheduled overtime and shift flexibility.
Special Skill Requirements
PLC Programming: Understanding of PLC programming and troubleshooting. Must maintain strong troubleshooting skills to resolve both PLC hardware and software-related problems.
Troubleshooting: Strong troubleshooting skills to resolve mechanical and electrical issues.
Knowledge/Experience/Competencies
Entry-level position requiring 0 to 2 years of experience.
