Direct Hire | Full-Time
Hours: Nights, 7p - 7a, 3x12 shifts

Key Responsibilities
Develop a comprehensive understanding of patients, families, and caregivers to support optimal care outcomes
Facilitate delivery of patient care through delegation, collaboration, and prioritization
Ensure effective communication across all members of the healthcare team
Independently plan and provide professional nursing care in accordance with physician orders
Follow hospital policies, departmental procedures, and professional nursing standards
Maintain compliance with American Nurses Association (ANA) Standards of Practice and Code of Ethics
Ensure a safe, supportive, and efficient care environment
Procedures & Modalities
Neonatal intensive care nursing
Patient assessment and monitoring
Care coordination and clinical decision-making
Family-centered care
Equipment Utilized
NICU monitoring equipment
Electronic medical records (EMR) systems
Standard neonatal care equipment
Requirements
Minimum 2–3 years of NICU nursing experience required
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Ability to multitask and work independently
Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
Education
One of the following is required:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required upon hire (as of June 1, 2021)
Must obtain BSN within three years if not currently held (based on eligibility criteria)
Associate Degree in Nursing (ASN) accepted only if grandfathered per policy
Certifications & Licensure
Valid Indiana Registered Nurse (RN) license (Required)
Current CPR certification (Required)
Additional certifications may be required based on specialty area
Additional Details
Must have at least 2 years of NICU RN experience for consideration
