
Transactional Senior Legal Assistant

Position Summary
A Senior Transactional Practice Assistant is needed to support multiple attorneys in a fast-paced transactional environment. This role combines advanced legal support with high-level administrative responsibilities, playing a key part in managing workflows, coordinating tasks, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
Core Responsibilities
Manage calendars, schedules, deadlines, and email communications
Prepare, draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence
Handle legal filings with courts and relevant entities
Act as a point of contact for clients, managing calls and communications
Review and edit monthly client billing and invoices
Maintain and update internal procedures and workflows
Support attorneys with complex transactional tasks and projects
Provide guidance and backup support to other team members
Required Qualifications
8+ years of experience in a law firm, supporting senior attorneys or partners
Strong skills in Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel
Familiarity with legal billing and document management systems (preferred)
Excellent organization and ability to manage multiple priorities
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Close attention to detail and proofreading accuracy
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
Compensation & Benefits
Salary: $70,000 – $80,000 annually (non-exempt)
Performance-based bonus eligibility
