Role Description
This is a part-time hybrid role for a Certified Paralegal at our office located in San Carlos, CA, with the flexibility to work remotely for some tasks. This postion will likely grow to a full-time opportunity based on the needs of the busness. The Certified Paralegal will assist attorneys in preparing legal documents, conducting research, reviewing case files, and providing administrative support. Key responsibilities include drafting and filing court documents, reviewing legal cases, and maintaining communication with clients to ensure clear understanding of case progress.
Qualifications
Must meet California Business and Professions Code 6450 requirements (ABA-approved paralegal certificate or equivalent).
Minimum or 3 - 5 years of solid, recent family law paralegal experience in California.
Strong Communication skills, including clientm interaction and correspondence.
Ability to conduct thorough Research and analyze legal information.
Experience with Document Review and case management systems.
Deep understanding of California Family Law proceures, local court rules (e.g. San Mateo, San Francisco), and e-filing systems
