Pay Rate: $24 – $31 per hour (based on experience)
Union Position: Yes (Union membership required upon hire)
Job Type: Full-Time, Hourly, Day And Night
Job Summary
Tampa BAy Bottling Company is seeking a skilled and experienced Mechanic to join our production team. This position is responsible for maintaining, repairing, and troubleshooting production line machinery and equipment to ensure efficient and safe operation.
Key Responsibilities
Perform preventative maintenance on production machinery (fillers, cappers, labelers, conveyors, etc.).
Diagnose and repair mechanical, pneumatic, and electrical issues on manufacturing equipment.
Set up and adjust machines for changeovers and new production runs.
Monitor line performance and make real-time adjustments to improve efficiency and minimize downtime.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and parts used.
Collaborate with production staff and supervisors to ensure timely repairs and optimal equipment performance.
Follow all safety protocols, company policies, and OSHA regulations.

Position Requirements
High school diploma or GED required; technical training or certification preferred.
Minimum 3 years of experience as an industrial mechanic, preferably in a beverage or food production environment.
Strong mechanical aptitude with knowledge of production line machinery and automation systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
Basic welding, fabrication, and machining skills a plus.
Must be able to work flexible shifts, including weekends and overtime as needed.
Must be able to lift 50 lbs and work in a physically demanding environment.
