We are seeking a reliable and experienced

Maintenance Technician – Industrial Mechanic

to support our cosmetic contract manufacturing operations. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing a wide range of production and packaging equipment used in the formulation and filling of cosmetic products. Your work will directly impact our ability to deliver high-quality products on time and ensure compliance with GMP and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine and preventative maintenance on mixers, filling machines, labelers, conveyors, cappers, and other cosmetic production and packaging equipment.

Troubleshoot mechanical failures and perform corrective actions to minimize downtime.

Assist with equipment setups and changeovers for different product runs.

Install, align, and calibrate new equipment and production lines according to specifications.

Maintain documentation of maintenance activities, parts usage, and repairs in accordance with GMP and internal SOPs.

Collaborate with the production and quality teams to ensure equipment is operating efficiently and safely.

Follow all safety procedures and company policies, including lockout/tagout (LOTO), PPE use, and chemical handling.

Support continuous improvement initiatives related to equipment reliability and efficiency.

Participate in audits, inspections, and equipment validation as required.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required; technical certification in industrial mechanics, mechatronics, or a related field is preferred.

3+ years of hands‑on experience in industrial or mechanical maintenance, preferably in cosmetic, pharmaceutical, or food & beverage manufacturing.

Strong mechanical aptitude and working knowledge of pumps, gearboxes, drives, pneumatic systems, and filling/packaging lines.

Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and Cleanroom requirements.

Basic understanding of electrical systems and PLC-controlled equipment.

Ability to read mechanical drawings and schematics.

Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, regulated production environment.

Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work flexible shifts including nights or weekends if required.
