
MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

The Aerospace Maintenance Technician is responsible for inspecting, maintaining, and repairing aircraft, aerospace equipment, and support systems. This role ensures all work complies with strict aviation safety standards and regulatory requirements while minimizing downtime and maintaining operational readiness.
Salary: $5,200 - $72,800 per year. Shift: First. Work hours: 8 AM - 4 PM. Education: High School.
Responsibilities
Undertaking and completion of preventive maintenance activities to plant equipment utilizing the plant computerized maintenance management system.
Troubleshooting equipment problems or failures, determining the appropriate actions for repair, specifying parts and materials needed for repair, and ordering parts as required.
Developing solid, professional working relationships with all plant employees, and responding to requests for maintenance in a timely manner so as to reduce plant equipment downtime.
Must have the ability to complete repairs to equipment with minimal supervision, especially while working on the off-shifts.
Perform all planned and unplanned facility maintenance activities.
Must be knowledgeable in general building maintenance, plumbing and electrical.
Requirements
High School Diploma or GED.
Minimum of 5 years of experience performing the essential functions of the job.
Knowledge of CMMS, PLC, vacuum, electronics, welding, precision measuring instruments and ability to understand blueprints.
