This facility is seeking a Gastroenterology Physician for locum tenens support as they look to fill a current need.
Details and requirements for this opportunity:
Schedule: July 2026 ongoing
Practice Setting: Hospital Setting, mostly inpatient but may include some outpatient as well. When assigned to inpatient service, clinic responsibilities may be reduced or adjusted accordingly. Outpatient work is limited and secondary to inpatient endoscopy and consult coverage.
Required Procedures (all required competencies): Upper GI endoscopy, EGD with biopsy, foreign body removal, fulguration of bleeder, variceal injection/banding (scheduled and emergent), PEG placement, esophageal dilation, esophageal manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy (flexible and rigid), colonoscopy with biopsy, colon polyp excision, liver biopsy, insertion/management of Sengstaken-Blakemore tube, and push enteroscopy.
Credentialing timeframe: 60 - 90 Days, Unless temporary approved
EMR): Cerner
Board Certification: Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible
Life Support Certifications: BLS, ACLS
Licensure: Willing to license!
