JOB DESCRIPTION
Clean Harbors is seeking an onsite ERTS dispatcher in Norwell, MA or Jacksonville, FL to organize and coordinate daily activities of dispatching employees and equipment for multiple locations within the organization. Coordinates incoming customer requests and ensures the proper manpower and equipment is dispatched to provide excellent and on‑time customer services. Ensures that effective communications exist between all personnel and equipment required to provide services to customers.
Schedule
If located in Jacksonville, FL the hours will be 6:00 p.m. to 6:00 a.m. If located in Norwell, MA your hours will be 4:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.

RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for the completion of regulatory reporting on shift.
Provides day‑to‑day environmental support to open projects to ensure compliance with environmental policies, requirements, and procedures.
Serves as a technical supervisor on matters relating to environmental spills.
Responsible for overseeing projects including all phases of spill response, working directly with clients to ensure a timely and successful spill cleanup, regulatory compliance, and client satisfaction with cost effectiveness in mind.
Dispatch contractor for excavation, transportation and disposal of products.
Oversees contractors in the field to determine sources and methods of controlling pollutants in air, water and soil.
Accurately logs information from client interactions into ALERT systems; updates in a timely and accurate manner so that clients can track services, inquiries, and resolution.
Communicates effectively to contractors, clients, regulatory officials, etc. via written and verbal communication.
Return all internal and external calls, emails and facsimiles in a timely manner to ensure that customers' concerns are understood, addressed and resolved efficiently and completely.
Maintains professional competency in all aspects of the job.
Perform other job‑related duties as required.
QUALIFICATIONS
Dispatch, customer service experience.
Working knowledge or ability to develop a working knowledge of OSHA, RCRA, DOT regulations.
Strong time management skills, attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple projects.
Team player who works to accomplish common departmental goals.
Excellent written and verbal communication.
Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft applications and software used by ERTS.
Ability to handle a high call volume in a fast‑paced environment dealing with emergency response calls.
Effectively communicate with clients, employees and outside professionals.
Ability to orchestrate large volumes of data while meeting critical deadlines.
Exemplify professionalism in personal appearance and demeanor.
