
Accounts Receivable Analyst

The Role
The Accounts Receivable Analyst will support AR operations across North America, with responsibilities that include managing complex reconciliations, analyzing large data sets, and supporting e-commerce transaction flows. The candidate should have strong analytical skills, a proactive mindset, and the ability to collaborate across departments in a fast‑paced, global nutraceutical environment. Using an automated system powered by Microsoft Dynamics 365, Commerce Tools and Freshdesk, the analyst is responsible for overseeing customer payment processing and workflows, ensuring seamless customer communication, and maintaining data accuracy across systems. The role also involves monitoring key performance indicators, identifying operational and system issues through exception reporting and trends, and providing insights that drive continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze and reconcile high-volume AR transactions, including those from e‑commerce and wholesale channels
Perform large data set reconciliations across ERP systems, payment gateways, and third‑party platforms
Prepare AR‑related journal entries and assist with month‑end close processes
Support cash application processes and ensure accurate posting of payments from multiple digital channels
Collaborate with Sales, Customer Service, and IT teams to resolve billing and payment issues—particularly those related to online transactions—and improve AR workflows
Generate AR aging reports and dashboards to monitor performance and identify risk areas
Assist in managing monthly practitioner rebate payouts, ensuring accurate calculation, timely processing, and proper documentation in alignment with company policies and financial controls
Assist in developing and implementing AR policies and procedures tailored to digital commerce
Participate in internal and external audits by providing documentation and analysis as needed
Support system upgrades and automation initiatives related to AR and e‑commerce reconciliation processes
Basic Requirements
Experience / Training / Education
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred
Minimum 3 years of experience in accounts receivable or general accounting, preferably in an e‑commerce or high‑volume transaction environment
Knowledge of
Strong understanding of GAAP and AR best practices, including digital payment systems
Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems (Microsoft Dynamics 365 preferred)
Experience with e‑commerce platforms and third‑party payment processors (e.g., Shopify, PayPal, Stripe)
Skills/Abilities
Excellent analytical, problem‑solving, and communication skills
Skilled at managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines in a dynamic environment
Effective team collaborator who thrives in cooperative work settings
Demonstrates professionalism and builds positive relationships with both internal stakeholders and external partners
Compensation
The current range for this role based out of Aliso Viejo, CA is $70,000/yr to $80,000/yr. The wage range considers a wide variety of factors, including skill set, experience, training, licensure, certifications, and other business needs. The role may also be eligible to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to program rules.
