
Manager, Finance & Accounting

Purpose
The role of Manager, Finance & Accounting is to lead our night shift General Ledger team (10:00 PM to 7:00 AM PHT) supporting our US business, overseeing the day‑to‑day controllership activities performed in CoE as well as managing team performance.
Key Missions
1. Financial Accounting & Ledger Management
Lead the monthly close for assigned entities, coordinating with the business finance team.
Review the accuracy and reasonableness of journal entries and account balances.
Oversee Cash, AP, AR, Prepaid, Fixed‑Asset & Intangibles, Intercompany and Payroll Accounting.
Load monthly results into Group reporting tools and respond to consolidation or regional queries.
3. Audit, Compliance & Controls
Coordinate internal and external audits and the annual internal‑control self‑assessment.
Ensure adherence to IFRS/US‑GAAP, corporate accounting policies and internal‑control requirements.
Manage General Ledger team (~4 Senior GL Accountants): staffing, training, performance management and succession planning.
Foster a culture of accountability, service excellence and continuous improvement.
5. Process Improvement & Transformation
Identify inefficiencies in accounting processes and manage change implementation.
6. Consolidation & Regional Support
Prepare and submit ad‑hoc financial requests from stakeholders.
Profile & Other Information
Required profile:
Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills.
Ability to anticipate and/or proactively address issues.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite products (above average Excel skills required). Ability to perform multiple tasks concurrently.
Understanding of financial terms related to product, software development, and service delivery.
Excellent customer service attitude, communication skills, and interpersonal skills.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Foster a team environment that promotes growth.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Required Experience
BS in Accounting or Finance; a CPA is required; MBA a plus.
10+ years of progressive accounting experience working in a fast‑paced environment.
3+ years of managing an accounting team.
Experience with a mid to large ERP system, MS Dynamics ERP systems (D365 and Great Plains) preferred.
Experience with reporting systems, TM1 and BFC preferred.
Process improvement experience preferred.
IFRS.
Work Arrangement
On‑site presence is required two days per week, including Thursdays.
