Essential Functions
Operates powered mobile equipment (fork lifts, powered lifts, hand trucks, walkie‑stackers, etc.)
Performs warehouse duties to include all types of shipping, receiving, and movement of raw materials, in‑process materials, waste streams, parts, supplies, equipment, and finished product.
Stages and delivers materials and supplies to and from the various processing, storage, and warehouse locations.
Weighs materials where necessary, completes labels and required records.
Inspects incoming materials and supplier shipments, verifying quantities and identity against reference documentation. Reports any damage to management.
Interacts with web‑based database system for inventory tracking/recording and shipment generation.
Responsible for all housekeeping activities within the plant, including removal of trash and collection of recyclables.
Performs general labor work in and about the various plant areas to support manufacturing and warehouse operations as required.
Flexible and willing to work rotating 4x7 shifts. Expected to provide vacation/back‑fill coverage for other utility specialists as needed.
Assists in training other utility specialists.
Participates in updating of job‑related procedures, safe job procedures, etc., as requested.
Follows all required safety procedures.
Manual material handling activities require lifting, carrying, pushing and pulling of parts and materials up to 50 lbs.
Frequent climbing of stairs to access materials and equipment.
Loads and unloads tankers.
Complies with Foreign Trade Zone regulations.
Other duties as assigned.
Skills
Able to safely operate mobile equipment (fork lifts, powered lifts, hand trucks, walkie‑stackers, etc.) and cleaning equipment (push‑behind floor scrubber, vacuum, etc.)
Computer literacy – competent in MS Office applications (Word, Outlook, Excel)
Able to enter and retrieve data from computerized database systems.
Able to balance priorities and manage multiple assignments when given general direction.
Able to use weigh scales and perform basic arithmetic calculations without errors.
Must work well in a people‑oriented, teamwork environment.
Must show initiative and be able to handle stressful situations in a demanding production environment.
Must be open to change and able to learn new processes and tools quickly.
Must be able to work under numerous environmental exposures: chemicals (cleaning agents, toner raw materials, toner powder), dust, odors, noise, heat/cold, vibration, indoors/outdoors, wet/slippery surfaces, mechanical and electrical.
Education
High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Experience
Must be trained and qualified for operation of motorized walking‑stackers and forklift vehicles.
Minimum of 2 years prior warehouse and forklift/tow motor experience required.
Must have experience entering and retrieving data from database systems and using MS Outlook, Word, and Excel.
