Senior Compensation Analyst

This role is responsible for managing and enhancing a wide range of compensation programs, ensuring they are competitive in the market and aligned internally to support the attraction and retention of top talent.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee the design, administration, and continuous improvement of compensation programs, including base salary, bonuses, commissions, and equity plans.
Evaluate compensation structures to maintain external competitiveness and internal equity.
Conduct job analysis through questionnaires and interviews, developing and maintaining accurate job descriptions.
Review and audit job classifications and compensation decisions to ensure consistency and compliance.
Participate in salary surveys and analyze market data to benchmark and establish competitive pay practices.
Perform in-depth analyses on compensation initiatives such as incentive plans, sales compensation, and equity programs.
Develop recommendations and present findings to leadership, supporting informed decision-making.
Identify opportunities to improve compensation processes and lead implementation of enhancements.
Support communication and rollout of compensation programs, including development and delivery of training materials.
Address compensation-related compliance issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
Serve as a trusted advisor to HR partners and business leaders on compensation strategies and decisions.
Provide guidance or mentorship to junior team members as needed.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in compensation or total rewards.
Degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field preferred.
Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) designation is a plus.
Proven experience managing HR-related projects.
Strong consulting, communication, and influencing skills.
Advanced analytical and problem-solving abilities with strong attention to detail.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, with the ability to analyze and interpret complex data sets.
Working knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint; experience with Access databases is a plus.
