ABOUT THE ROLE
Amrize Building Envelope is a leading global manufacturer and supplier of a comprehensive product portfolio for commercial building performance solutions, and is currently looking for a highly skilled production worker to work out of our Bristol, CT facility. The Production Worker Middle performs general duties that include, but are not limited to: measuring bundle heights, checking board lengths and square checks, checking for general defects in material, communicating quality issues to pour table operators during the production run, and assisting with attaching labels, gluing slats to bundles, adjusting saws, and loading packaging machine plastic.
2nd Shift:
2pm-10:30pm Monday through Friday
Pay:
$27.58 plus a $1.00 shift differential!
WHAT YOU'LL ACCOMPLISH
Machine operation with some quality assurance knowledge
Monitoring of the product and the equipment (robots, gang saw, crosscut saw, trim saw, conveyors, and packaging equipment)
Handling and maintaining flow of materials and products according to established guidelines
Logging the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products
Operating low complexity motorized and non‑motorized material handling equipment
Other duties as assigned

WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR
Education
High School Diploma
Required Work Experience
One to two years’ experience in a shipping/warehousing operation
One to two years’ experience in a manufacturing environment (desired)
Additional Requirements
Experience with inventory software, SAP preferred
Ability to frequently lift and/or move up to 30 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment (PPE), including respirators. Employees requiring respirators must be clean‑shaven where the respirator seal contacts the face to pass fit testing.
