Full-time – 2nd shift: Monday – Friday 2:00 pm – 10:30 pm; overtime and Saturdays as needed

About the Role
Summary: The Plate Saw Operator ensures efficient saw operation by handling material cutting, organization, distribution, packaging, raw material supply, truck unloading, and production/fabrication activities.
Essential Functions
Utilize machinery for the transfer and cutting of material.
Read production schedule, customer order, work order, shipping order and determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed (by forklift or other means necessary).
Maintain a safe working environment and continually follow MIOSHA, or applicable federal, state, and local guidelines.
Measure finished parts with precision tools, such as tape measure and calipers, ensuring compliance with function, quality, and cosmetic specifications.
Must have basic math skills in order to comprehend decimals and fractions.
Operate forklifts to load, unload, and transport materials within the facility.
Fill work orders or requests for material.
Assemble customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or shelves.
Locate material in our inventory system.
Deliver packages to the staging area.
Retrieve material and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.
Comply with mandated ISO quality procedures at all times and assist with periodic review of related policies and procedures.
Maintain cleanliness of work area.
Must be able to handle high stress situations.
Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
