Responsibilities
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Business Analyst in Fort Worth, Texas (TX).
Requirements
BA/BS required
5+ years of project management experience, preferably in the financial services sector
Minimum of 4 years of experience in business analysis or a related field
Exceptional analytical and conceptual thinking skills
Experience with project management approaches, tools, and phases of the project lifecycle
Experience with data analysis and making data‑driven recommendations
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, SCRUM, Waterfall).
Proficient in project management software (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Trello)
Deep understanding of financial services and digital products
Knowledge of relevant regulatory frameworks and compliance requirements in the industry or region of operation
Understanding of customer experience in financial services
Strong understanding of Lean Portfolio Management principles and practices
Strong understanding and ability to facilitate discussions on business capabilities, value streams and organizing around value
Does not require industry‑specific experience—ideal candidate has experience across multiple industries/agnostic
Needs experience across discovery, workshops, root cause analysis, process improvement, and gap analysis
Should be comfortable with Visio (or similar) process mapping
Candidates can come from various backgrounds or experience with project management or data analysis
Excellent communication, leadership, and negotiation skills
Key Skills / Traits
Strong elicitation and requirement gathering (beyond just note‑taking)
Ability to work through ambiguity—organization is in a transitional phase
Needs to be fluid, collaborative, and able to support product teams with epics/features—will not be writing user stories
Candidate should be fluid, can work in grey areas; good at driving meetings, elicitation and discovery—asking good questions and following up with actions
Agile experience preferred
Compensation and Benefits
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
Note: Pay is not considered compensation until it is earned, vested and determinable. The amount and availability of any compensation remains in Kforce's sole discretion unless and until paid and may be modified in its discretion consistent with the law.
