Desired Skills and Experience
Must have over 8 years of successful full lifecycle IT technology project management experience
Strong experience within application dev, systems, infrastructure based projects
Strong understanding of databases, virtual machines, operating systems, networking, cloud, and security principles
Experience managing multi‑location or global technology projects
Hands‑on ability to use SQL for queries and basic data analysis
Proficiency with project management tools (Wrike, MS Project, Monday.com)
Strong grasp of Agile and Waterfall methodologies
Excellent communication, organization, and leadership abilities
Ability to manage competing priorities and perform under pressure
Strong analytical, problem‑solving, budgeting, and financial tracking skills
Experience with risk management, change control, and release management
Strong communicator, able to hold people accountable – will be giving executive presentations
Stressing the importance of soft people skills and communication for maximum program efficiency
MUST HAVE great personality (exciting, engaging, not shy) able to communicate clearly across leaders and executives – hold people accountable to drive projects forward

Plusses:
PMP or equivalent certification
Experience in cruise, casino, or regulated industry environments
Prior participation in PMO creation or scaling
Experience working across diverse brand or platform architectures
Vendor management or contract negotiation experience

Day-to-Day
Our Client is looking to bring on a local to Miami Florida Project Manager that will lead complex technology initiatives that support Global Gaming operations across multiple brands and regions. A typical day includes defining project scope, developing detailed project plans, and coordinating timelines and resources while managing several projects simultaneously. The Project Manager works closely with stakeholders to gather and analyze business and technical requirements, transforming them into actionable tasks and ensuring project alignment with objectives. They oversee testing cycles, validate deliverables, track defects, and ensure adherence to Agile or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate. The role involves providing regular updates, dashboards, and executive‑level summaries while facilitating meetings to maintain clear communication. They also manage risks and issues, drive mitigation efforts, oversee release schedules and deployment planning, and ensure compliance with established governance and change control processes. Throughout delivery, the Project Manager collaborates with technical teams, application owners, and leadership to keep projects progressing smoothly, resolve roadblocks, and maintain quality, budget, and schedule discipline.
