Description

Oversee day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger activities.
Fund Accounting with a focus on Private Equity
Prepare and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with regulations.
Assist in developing and implementing internal controls and financial policies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support budgeting and forecasting processes.
Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes.
Support the preparation of tax filings and audit documentation.
Mentor and guide junior accounting staff to foster professional growth.
Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Profile

A successful Assistant Controller should have:
A strong educational background in accounting, finance, or a related field.
Private Equity exposure would be a huge plus
Expertise in financial reporting and compliance with industry standards.
Proficiency in accounting software and advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
The ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines effectively.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with various teams.
