Accounts Payable Specialist

Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated, detail-oriented Accounts Payable Specialist to accurately manage and process vendor invoices, ensure timely payments, and maintain positive vendor relationships. This is an entry-level position that will allow for growth within the accounting team.

Responsibilities

Review, verify, and process vendor invoices in a timely and accurate manner

Prepare and execute weekly payment runs

Reconcile vendor statements and respond to vendor inquiries

Investigate and resolve discrepancies with vendors and internal teams

Assist with month‑end closing activities, including accruals and reconciliations

Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and internal controls

Identify opportunities to improve AP processes and efficiency

Qualifications

Associate’s degree in accounting or related field preferred

1–3 years of accounts payable or general accounting experience

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems (Dynamics 365 preferred)

Strong organizational skills with high attention to detail

Effective analytical and problem‑solving skills

Ability to prioritize workload and manage multiple responsibilities effectively

Ability to communicate effectively with vendors and internal partners, in both written and verbal formats
