Snelling Staffing is looking for a seasoned payroll professional for an industrial company in the Denham Springs area. The Payroll Clerk will be responsible for preparing semi-monthly payroll for over 100 employees including reviewing time and administering regulatory requirements. This position will be full-time working Monday-Friday from 7:00am-4:30pm (off at 3:00pm on Fridays) for pay starting at $25 per hour and willing to pay more depending on experience.

Payroll Clerk Duties: Process payroll for employees including reviewing and importing hours from time and attendance system Enter payroll tax and direct deposit information Administering regulatory requirements (e.g. garnishments, tax levies, support orders, and other adjustments to pay as necessary). Prepare quarterly tax credit reports Respond to emails and questions in a timely, positive, and professional manner Other administrative duties when required

Qualifications: Minimum of 3-5 years of previous payroll experience Experience using Quick Books is REQUIRED! Prior experience working in the industrial field with a PLUS! Proficient with Microsoft Office 365 High attention to detail and exceptional organizational skills Outstanding verbal and written communication skills
