Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.****What You’ll Be Doing*** **Operate haul trucks safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the site*** **Perform pre‐shift inspections and report equipment issues promptly*** **Support plant operations through maintenance tasks on stationary and mobile equipment*** **Assist with plant cleanup and general labor activities to maintain safe, efficient operations*** **Learn and operate additional equipment such as water trucks, skid steers, and other mobile units****What We Are Looking For*** **Demonstrated ability to operate heavy mobile equipment safely and responsibly*** **Capability to learn and perform basic maintenance on equipment and support plant operations*** **Strong situational awareness and commitment to safety practices*** **Physical ability to perform tasks that may include climbing, lifting, and extended periods of equipment operation*** **Reliability, punctuality, and a consistent focus on quality work****Conditions of Employment*** **Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background check****Work Environment*** **Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.****What We Offer*** **$22 per hour*** **401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions*** **Highly competitive benefits programs, including:**
