Day & Night Shift Coverage Needed

Start January 2026- March 2026 with availability to extend

We are seeking experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants to provide coverage in an Advanced Urgent Care setting in Gwinnett County. This role offers the opportunity to work in a high-acuity environment alongside a physician at all times, no solo coverage.

Coverage Needs

Weekend Day Shifts

• Saturday & Sunday: 9:00 AM 5:00 PM
  OR

• Saturday, Sunday, Monday: 11:00 AM 9:00 PM

Night Shift Coverage

• Monday Sunday: 9:00 PM 7:00 AM

Practice Setting

• Advanced Urgent Care

• Outpatient only
  12-15 patients per day

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments

• Order and interpret diagnostic studies

• Manage a broad range of acute and urgent conditions

• Perform procedures including:

  • Laceration repair

  • Incision and drainage

  • Foreign body removal

Candidate Qualifications

• Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

• Strong procedural skills and clinical decision-making

• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills

• Prior experience in urgent care, emergency medicine, or hospital-based practice strongly preferred
