Position
Position Summary
— The Manager of Health Information Services is responsible for directing the activities of the Health Information Services Department in the management and maintenance of all patient health information, ensuring compliance with all state and federal laws and regulations of licensing agencies and within the Joint Commission standards for the quality of patient care. The Manager of Health Information Services is also responsible for overseeing and/or providing physician support functions and assisting the Director with Performance Improvement activities. The Manager is also responsible for maintaining hospital statistics ensuring accuracy of reported data.
Qualifications
Education : Degree in health information management.
Licensure/Credentials : Credentialed as a Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) or a Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT); coding certifications must include RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CPC.
Experience : Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience.
Work Location : 65 Airport Pkwy, Greenwood, IN 46143.
