Emergency Room (ER) Technician
Full-time / Days position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.

Responsibilities
Reporting to the Director of Emergency Services, the ER Technician administers patient care to designated patients under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse. The technician follows the plan of care set by the registered nurse and/or physician, managing the individual needs of the patient with regard to their age and clinical diagnosis.

They perform a variety of direct and indirect patient care duties in the Emergency Department to ensure and maintain smooth patient flow. The ER Technician has specialized skills and knowledge in emergency care for all patients from infancy through geriatric.

Qualifications

Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certificate issued by American Heart Association.

Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certificate required within 90 days of hire.

EMT, CNA, or Medical Assistant required – or currently enrolled in RN program with successful completion of 2 semesters of clinical coursework.

Basic dysrhythmia certification or obtained within 6 months of hire.
