Emergency Room (ER) Technician
Full‑time position located at Corona Regional Medical Center in Corona, CA.
Responsibilities
The ER Technician reports to the Director of Emergency Services and administers patient care under the direction of a registered nurse. The technician follows the plan of care set by the RN or physician, managing patient needs based on age and diagnosis. Duties include direct and indirect patient care that supports smooth patient flow in the Emergency Department and require specialized skills and knowledge in emergency care for patients ranging from infancy to geriatric.
Qualifications
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Crisis Prevention and Intervention (CPI) certification required within 90 days of hire.
EMT, CNA or Medical Assistant required – or currently enrolled in an RN program with successful completion of two semesters of clinical coursework.
Basic dysrhythmia certification obtained within six months of hire.
