What You’ll Do
Are you looking to be part of a team supporting a national security mission? Do you like working in a fast-paced environment with different challenges daily? Working in the IT Infrastructure organization in support of the national security mission to maintain the safety, security, and effectiveness of the United States nuclear weapons stockpile, we serve a critical function to identify, investigate and resolve issues while minimizing the business impact. As an Axonius Administrator you will be the subject matter expert responsible for the administration, integration, and automation of the Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management platform while collaborating across infrastructure, security, and operations teams.
This position is a limited telework position. Due to the nature of the work and the systems supported, the majority of time will be spent onsite.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as the primary administrator and technical owner of the Axonius platform
Design, deploy, and maintain Axonius adapters and integrations across:
Endpoint, network, identity, vulnerability, and cloud platforms
Develop and maintain automation workflows leveraging Axonius enforcement sets and APIs
Build and maintain dashboards, queries, and reports to support security, compliance, and operational use cases
Integrate Axonius with multiple systems including SIEM, SOAR, ITSM, MDM, IAM, and CMDB
Support asset correlation, data normalization, and source-of-truth initiatives
Collaborate with cybersecurity, infrastructure, and compliance teams to support:
Continuous monitoring
Zero Trust initiatives
Asset visibility and risk reduction
Troubleshoot data ingestion, adapter failures, and performance issues
Document system architecture, integrations, and operational procedures
Support audits, ATO activities, and compliance reporting (e.g., NIST, FedRAMP, FISMA)

Minimum Job Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field and 5 years of relevant experience.
Thirteen years or more of relevant education, experience and/or progressive experience may be considered to satisfy the educational and years of experience for this posting.

Hands‑on experience administering Axonius Cybersecurity Asset Management
Strong understanding of asset discovery, correlation, and lifecycle management
Automation & Programming
Experience with RESTful APIs (authentication, pagination, error handling)
Proficiency in one or more scripting or programming languages:
Python
PowerShell
Bash
Experience automating workflows across multiple IT and security platforms
Operating Systems & Infrastructure
Strong working knowledge of:
Windows Server and Active Directory
Linux (RHEL, Ubuntu, or equivalent)
Experience with enterprise networking concepts:
TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, routing, firewalls
Familiarity with virtualization and/or cloud platforms (VMware, AWS, Azure, or GCP)
Databases & Data Handling
Working knowledge of databases and data structures:
SQL (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MS SQL) or NoSQL concepts
Experience querying, transforming, and analyzing large datasets
Dashboarding & Visualization
Experience creating dashboards and reports using:
Axonius built‑in tools
BI or visualization platforms (e.g., Splunk, Kibana, Grafana, Power BI)
