Position Overview
The Philanthropy Manager leads and manages all philanthropic strategy and activities for the Great Falls Clinic Legacy Foundation in collaboration with the Executive Director. This role is responsible for fundraising strategy, grant development, donor relations, event management, and stewardship programs that advance the mission and strategic priorities of the Foundation and the Great Falls Clinic Hospital. Working closely with the Foundation Board of Directors, hospital leadership, physicians, staff, and community partners, the Philanthropy Manager provides strategic and operational leadership to ensure strong financial performance, donor engagement, and community impact. The position also serves as a key connector between internal stakeholders and external partners, supporting hospital initiatives through community outreach, advocacy, and cross‑functional collaboration.
Education
BA or BS, required.
MA or MS, preferred.
Experience
Progressive and measurable fundraising experience in a nonprofit organization.
Minimally 5 years of leadership experience.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
Event strategy and execution
Public speaking and professional presentation
Board relations and communication
Team leadership and cross‑functional collaboration
Financial oversight and donor accountability
Excellent organizational, interpersonal, and written/verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and initiatives simultaneously.
Advanced fundraising and grant writing expertise.
Donor cultivation, stewardship, and relationship management.
