Midwest Physicians Surgery Center is hiring a GI Tech
No weekends, no holidays, no call! Position requires weekdays only -- no holidays, weekends, or call. Some later evenings may be required.
As a GI Technician/Endoscopy, you will work under the direct supervision of a surgeon to assist with the operation of technical equipment used during simple and complex endoscopic procedures. The physician, registered nurse, and the GI technician work as a team in the procedure room to provide optimal conditions for achieving positive patient outcomes.
You will also be responsible for cleaning, disinfecting and maintaining endoscopes and other instrumentation, facilitating patient flow, room turnover, stocking procedure rooms, ordering supplies, and performing a variety of clerical duties.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent.
Preferred two years’ experience in endoscopy.
BLS Certification.
