Overview
Better Living focuses on the reunification of families. We are looking for a Family Support/Visitation Specialist to enhance the environment that supports healthy child development and tracks progress toward a safe home.
Responsibilities
Enhance an enriching environment that cultivates healthy development of a child.
Track and report the progress of families, setting and obtaining goals to accomplish a safe, supportive, and loving home.
Provide in‑home support across multiple locations.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent; two years of experience in a human services related position.
Associate's degree and one year of experience, or bachelor's degree in a human services field preferred.
Relevant experience may include social work, counseling, psychology, sociology, human development, child, youth and family studies, mental health education, or a closely related field.
Willingness to travel 50% of the time using personal vehicle with paid mileage.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and variable schedules based on client availability.
Pay
Without bachelor's degree: $20 per hour.
With bachelor's degree: $21 per hour.
Work Schedule
Flexible schedule. Evening and weekend hours required. Weekly and daily schedules may vary; an extended work week may be required.
