Job Overview

Data Engineering role requiring 5–7 years experience with GCP and relevant data engineering expertise.
Responsibilities & Qualifications

5–7 years data engineering experience, at least 1 year GCP experience.
Experience in Data Engineering ETL Pipelines for batch and streaming, SQL, Python, PySpark, Unix/Linux, and Data Warehousing concepts.
Experience with GCP native services such as BigQuery, Composer, GCS, Dataflow, etc.
Experience in Data Migration, Data Quality, and Data Governance.
Experience working in an Agile Scrum/KANBAN environment.
Proactively participate in stand‑up meetings, scrum ceremonies, grooming sessions, team retrospectives and suggest improvements.
Articulate and facilitate conversations with business owners and delivery teams.
Detailed understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, and Deployments.
Document and prioritize data and pipeline defects, working closely with defect management teams for resolution.
Perform status reporting, project risk issue management, business stakeholder reviews, and approvals of deliverables.
Compensation

The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is: $90,000 – $96,000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable pay transparency laws. The posted range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation Capgemini may pay at the time of posting. Actual compensation may fall outside the posted range and will be determined based on factors including location, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, seniority, performance, market and business considerations, and internal pay equity. It is not typical for candidates to be hired at or near the top of the posted range.
In addition to base salary, this role may be eligible for additional compensation such as variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on position and applicable laws.
