Job Description

Total years of data engineering experience: 5–7 years, with at least 1 year of relevant GCP experience.

Experience in Data Engineering ETL Pipelines, Batch and Streaming, along with SQL, Python, PySpark, Unix/Linux, and Data Warehouse concepts.

Experience with GCP native services such as BigQuery, Composer, GCS, Dataflow, etc.

Experience in Data Migration, Data Quality, and Data Governance.

Experience working in an Agile Scrum/Kanban environment.

Proactive participation in stand‑up meetings, scrum ceremonies, grooming sessions, retrospectives, and suggesting improvements.

Facilitate conversations with business owners and delivery teams.

Understanding of Continuous Integration, Continuous Deployment, Test Automation, and Deployments.

Document and prioritize data and pipeline defects, working closely with defect management teams for resolution.

Status reporting on project risk, issues, and stakeholder reviews and approvals of deliverables.

Compensation: The base compensation range for this role in the posted location is $90 000 - $96 000. Capgemini provides compensation range information in accordance with applicable pay‑transparency laws. The actual compensation offered may fall outside of the posted range and will be determined based on multiple factors such as geographic location, education, certifications, relevant experience, seniority, market and business considerations, and internal pay equity. The range may be subject to change as permitted by law. This role may also be eligible for variable incentives, bonuses, or commissions, depending on the position and applicable laws.
