We are seeking a skilled and dependable Maintenance Technician to help maintain our buildings, equipment, and property grounds. The ideal candidate is experienced, organized, customer‑focused, and ready to take pride in doing quality work.
What You’ll Do
Work closely with the Asset Manager and Property Managers to help keep buildings and grounds running efficiently.
Perform general repairs and maintenance, including locks, windows, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC, and basic electrical work.
Complete work orders promptly using property management software.
Conduct property walks and inspections to identify maintenance needs.
Maintain heating, plumbing, and electrical systems.
Ensure buildings remain safe and compliant with applicable codes.
Assist with general upkeep, repairs, and other tasks as needed.
Participate in an on‑call rotation, including nights and weekends.
What We’re Looking For
High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or certification in facility management or a related field preferred.
At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
Working knowledge of building systems and maintenance practices.
Ability to use maintenance tools and equipment safely and effectively.
Strong organizational and time‑management skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency with maintenance management software and Microsoft Office preferred.
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
Ability to lift, move, or carry items over 50 pounds.
Ability to stand, walk, bend, and work indoors and outdoors in all types of weather.
Must be able to shovel snow.
Strong attention to detail and a positive, team‑oriented attitude.
Schedule
Full‑time, 40 hours per week
8‑hour shifts
Weeknights and weekends as needed
On‑call rotation required
Compensation
$22–$26 per hour, based on experience
