
Credentialing Coordinator - Part Time

Must be based in West Michigan
Responsibilities include: Process enrollment applications for commercial health plan payers and manage the ongoing participation requirements of the plans for all practitioners enrolled. Populate, maintain, and update the credentialing communication tools. All aspects of external credentialing/re-credentialing providers and clinicians, including: obtaining provider information and entering into databases such as CAQH and CHAMPS, completing applications, and following up with insurance carriers. Maintain ongoing communication with insurance carriers to ensure external credentialing profiles and rosters are current and accurate.

Position Requirements
1 year of experience in credentialing strongly preferred.
Proven experience building and maintaining positive working relationships with insurance and carriers.
Proven ability to prioritize multiple tasks, projects, and deadlines.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Proficient in Excel
Able to independently solve problems and research new projects
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal. Proven Organizational skills
