We are a fast-growing company seeking a highly organized and adaptable Human Resources Manager to support and scale our team. With over 100+ employees and continued expansion, this role is critical in ensuring our people operations run smoothly and efficiently.
Overview
The Human Resources Manager will oversee all core HR functions, including benefits administration, payroll processing, employee relations, and recruitment coordination. This role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. The HR Manager will also supervise and support an HR team member, helping to delegate tasks and improve overall department efficiency. This individual must be knowledgeable in HR regulations and compliance requirements applicable to organizations with 100+ employees.
Responsibilities
Manage HR operations for 100+ employees
Supervise and support an HR team member, including task delegation and workflow oversight
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, particularly those impacting organizations with 100+ employees
Oversee ACA reporting and employee eligibility tracking
Ensure ERISA compliance and manage benefits plan requirements
Manage FMLA eligibility tracking, documentation, and required notices
Administer COBRA benefits and ensure timely notifications
Prepare and manage EEO-1 reporting
Administer employee benefits programs and serve as the primary point of contact for benefits-related questions
Process and oversee payroll with a high degree of accuracy
Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
Track and manage applicant pipelines and coordinate hiring processes
Support onboarding and offboarding processes
Handle employee relations matters with professionalism and confidentiality
Assist in developing and improving HR policies and procedures
Support leadership with HR-related initiatives as the company continues to grow
Qualifications
Proven experience in Human Resources, preferably in a growing organization
Strong knowledge of HR laws, regulations, and compliance requirements
Hands-on experience with ACA reporting, ERISA compliance, FMLA administration, COBRA, and EEO-1 reporting
(strongly preferred but not required)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Experience with payroll processing and benefits administration
Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (ATS)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment
Leadership or supervisory experience preferred
High level of discretion and professionalism
Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP, or similar) is a plus
