Overview
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Talent Sourcer to support our recruiting team by identifying, engaging, and building pipelines of qualified candidates. This role plays a critical part in driving talent acquisition efforts by leveraging creative sourcing strategies, market research, and relationship‑building skills.
Primary Responsibilities
Identify and source qualified candidates using a variety of channels, including LinkedIn, job boards, social media, networking, and internal databases
Build and maintain strong talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs
Partner closely with recruiters to understand role requirements and candidate profiles
Conduct initial outreach to candidates and assess interest, availability, and basic qualifications
Maintain accurate candidate records and activity tracking in the applicant tracking system (ATS)
Develop and execute innovative sourcing strategies to attract diverse talent
Perform market research and talent mapping to support workforce planning
Ensure a positive candidate experience throughout the sourcing and engagement process
Experience
Five (5) to ten (10) + years of relevant talent acquisition experience (preferably in the nuclear, DOE, and/or engineering industries)
Strong technical skills in PC operating systems; proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook), data entry, and database management
Proficient in ATS and operations software
Job Qualifications
Must be willing and able to participate in improving an ongoing process that helps an office work group evolve into a cohesive unit
Must be able to prioritize and complete tasks with a sense of urgency and accuracy
Possess excellent professional oral, written, and grammatical communication skills
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Well‑organized, flexible, and able to prioritize a diversified workload
Customer‑service–oriented professional with the ability to effectively interact with active candidates and clients
Must be able to maintain confidentiality
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience sourcing technical personnel (e.g., engineers in multiple disciplines) across the DOE complex
Bachelor of Science degree in Human Resources, Marketing, Communications, Business, or related field
